Decoating is a process to improve the recovery rate of materials such as UBC by removing the paint, inkjet, plastic, and oil on the surface of materials. Sanken Group has advanced global patented technology named IDEX® decoating system. Its greatest feature is that it can very well control the temperature, O2concentration, and system pressure inside the kiln, so that the VOC on the surface of UBC materials can be fully volatilized and led into the afterburner to act as fuel. The harmful substances are decomposed and then released into the atmosphere. At the same time, the residual Carbon can be completely reacted before leaving the kiln, ensuring that there is no residue on the material surface and no over-heating, and maximizing the recovery rate. Currently, Sanken group has more than 100 sets sales all over the world, the maximum single-unit processing capacity is 22t/h, the paint removing rate is >99.9%, and the natural gas consumption per ton of aluminum is 20 - 30Nm3.
